Crete is traditionally known for its olive oil which ranks among the finest varieties in the world. Heading towards the village of Armenoi we arrive at our first stop, the Olive oil museum. We continue our tour at Melidoni village to Paraschaki family olive oil press.

This excursion's first stop is the Paraschakis family olive mill in the village of Melidoni.

Through the guided tour, we learn all about the harvest, production and bottling of Cretan olive oil throughout time, and we taste their excellent olive oil varieties.

Our next stop, the Honey Museum, awaits us just a few meters away from the olive oil press.

There, we have the opportunity to learn about the bees, the history and production of honey from the experts.

This unforgettable and delicious experience takes us for coffee, a tour and an authentic Cretan meal in the traditional tavern - folklore museum in the village of Asteri.
