This was a super authentic & personal guided tour with our guide (Virginia). We didn’t know what to expect but we got a lot more than we thought we would. We thought we had seen Rethymno, but we clearly hadn’t. Virginia managed to show us all the hidden gems and beautiful architecture in the city most people don’t see. We learnt a lot about the locals, their history and everyday life in the city. Would definitely recommend this experience if you are new in the city and want to explore the best of what Rethymnon has to offer. Such friendly guides with lots of local knowledge.

They were a lovely couple, each had their own perspective and experience to communicate. We tried different morning foods along the way - some very sweet, and had a huge lunch of among other things, grilled meats. We saw much if how Rethymno was before the BandB market came along, and upgraded much of the town.

We stopped at true authentic Cretan locations that are real hidden gems where the locals would go.
